Nowadays it may actually requires BIOS/UEFI _and_ processor microcode updates as well. The BIOS/UEFI updates work around issues related to power management and suspend/resume. The microcode updates fix internal CPU to iGPU low-level issues that typically results in processor hangs, or iGPU misbehavior. -- Henrique Holschuh
