I don't know the real truth behind the decision, but this is the conclusion I make. The sad consequence is that resources are spent and communities are divided. The consequence of this is that output power is lost. The good thing is that may be more engineers and hobby developers can work on that in the future. We'll see what it will bring to us. For now the above mentioned diversity is the only diversity that makes sense ;-) regards
