FWIW, there are ways to circumvent/mitigate Ken's trusting-trust problem, e.g. https://dwheeler.com/trusting-trust/ who haven't found GCC to be victim of a trusting trust attack. I suspect it's easier to get trojans in the BIOS of every PC out there. Stefan
