I am running Debian 12 with the nvidia driver. It's mostly OK but I recently had to reboot as the Xorg process had taken around 70% of my 32G Ram. This may be a driver problem?
I have other issues with applications including firefox-esr and chrome taking lots of memory - though this is unlikely to be related to the video driver.
