All I can see is people making ominous warnings about, "the system might be under more memory pressure", which I don't find at all compelling. But if it does happen, you have that large sized swap right there which you can cut down again if you need to. I think I remember you saying that this system has 8 GiB of memory. That is not a lot these days, just generally, but I don't think that using a tmpfs for /tmp will have any noticeable impact beyond how your system normally works.
