Have you noticed how some OPs answer to people who suggest stupid things at random that only address half the symptoms exposed in the first place, and never the to people who lead them into an investigative process that will lead you to the solution with good probability? Are you sure of your numbers? For a host two gigabit switches away, I am already at 0.390/0.676/0.806/0.112 ms.
