Well, Roger, while I think my issue is fetchmail related, maybe you will know? 
For at least 2years while getting an imap receiving FastMail, mail in Alpine is 
ending up in a separate fastmail folder instead of incoming folders as an 
inbox. Here in Debian SID my fetchmail is in /usr/bin/fetchmail. If you have 
any suggestions, please pass them along. Thanks so much in advance
