As far as I remember, no. We don't know its IP address, what software package it's from, what system it's running on, who's managing it, how it's configured, or what's wrong with it. He seems to be treating it as an untouchable broken black box that he's not allowed to replace or work around, other than apparently by running nscd, which instead of working around the problem seems to be making it worse.
