I've recently installed spamassassin on debian stable
using a backport. spamassassin_2.63-0.backports.org.1_all.deb.
Got the following dependency errors:
***************************************
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of spamassassin:
spamassassin depends on libhtml-parser-perl; however:
Package libhtml-parser-perl is not installed.
spamassassin depends on spamc (>= 2.30); however:
Package spamc is not installed.
spamassassin depends on debconf (>= 1.2.0); however:
Version of debconf on system is 1.0.32.
***************************************
I've been getting these additional packages from
packages.debian.org but have notice that some dependencies
have additional sub-dependencies.
Is there an easier way to go about collecting dependencies?
*
Also, some dependencies are listed as:
i386
hurd-i386
non hurd-i386

Do I use both i386 and hurd-i386?
What does non-hurd-i386 specify?

Thanks,
-Rick
