Oh, I see, thanks for the historical memory, and thanks also to Russ and
Lars for their useful answers.

Looks like those low-severity bug reports would be appropriate for those
packages.

FWIW, to increase awareness of this field, I've now reported #742787
against lintian, patches welcome!
