Excellent. Note that I haven't committed yet the changes. I will when I'll get home (in about an hour or so). About the backport, do you already have a backport for all the needed packages? I know dblatex and xmlroff are needed, but IIRC some of the tex stuff was necessary, too (for UTF-8 support, for example).
