We do not recommend using any Norton products with Declude. There are two
different command line scanners that their software may use. One just
doesn't work (it always reports that no virus was found, even if one was
found -- this was likely done to make sure people could not use automated
programs such as Declude with it), and the other has caused problems for a
number of our customers.
If you really want to use Norton with Declude, there are ways that it can
be done, and we will do what we can to help you out. But, our customers
typically decide to use another program, such as McAfee's VirusScan (
http://www.mcafee.com ) or F-Prot ( http://www.complex.is ).
