I've done it and it works well. I'm not sure about the licensing since I have Imail unlimited but since there aren't any mailboxes for the Exchange system I don't think you need them.
There are a few things to note.. 1. Since Imail/Junkmail is just forwarding the messages, you tend to put the actions in the global.cfg rather than the $default$.junkmail file. 2. The %domain% variables don't work in the response messages. Since the domain doesn't exist on the iMail system, I had to hard code these .eml messages with the domain name. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:Declude.JunkMail-owner@;declude.com] On Behalf Of Mitch Irvine > Sent: Friday, November 01, 2002 9:23 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [Declude.JunkMail] question for all... > > > I'm considering configuring an IMAIL server as a gateway that > feeds into an existing exchange server. > > That of course would include junkmail agent pro. > > Has anybody done this?
