The key is to use Challenge/Response systems ONLY if the sender is questionable, e.g., is an open relay, has no Reverse DNS, has a bogus HELO, etc.

This way, the sending party has the option to properly set up a COMPLIANT mail server and they will NOT have to deal with responding to any challenges.  If they want to conduct eCommerce, let's get it right. If they don't, then they deserve that their emails are treated as "questionable" and may never get delivered.

Hi;

Look at the new challenge response we just received.  There is no way to fix this problem.
