Yep, we see lots of HELO announcements using our IP addresses, as well, however, that still has nothing to do with, nor will it have any affect on, whitelisting your mail server's IP addresses. Whitelisting the IP address applies to the real IP that connected to you system, not what is announce in the HELO/EHLO string.
