Anyone using that variable in their filters needs to be aware of this bug and review the log files to see if it is negatively affecting your filters. I have had to revert to an earlier version because of this. I have a IPBYPASS line for each of my incoming gateway servers. %REVDNS% is correctly recording from the server before my gateway servers. %REMOTEIP% is correctly recording from the server before my gateway servers. %HELO% is wrongly reporting the gateway server it was received from.
