Scott, I run Alligate as well, in front of my Imail server. Took it from 100% CPU all day to averaging 20%. It works really well for me, and I am delivering to several different domains including districts (GroupWise). Have you tweaked with any of the settings or are you simply running it out of the box?

I was not able to find anywhere in the alligate logs where it tried to send the message to my Smarter mail server. My Smarter mail server is running on a Dual Quad core system and is hardly tasked.
