Every server or drive array or other hardware has a specified maximum operation temperature. Take the lowest of all of them, subtract 5 degrees, if you have good air flow, otherwise 8-10 degrees, and take that as optimum temperature. You can consider to have 2-5 degrees more on really warm days if you have an undersized air cond.   Hermann   Can someone point me to a source of information regarding what temperature a server room should be at ?
