Hi Bob If I understand you correctly, you are saying that the clicking of the button in itself should not cause focus to shift from the memo and hence nothing fire's the OnExit.
You are right! It is code executed as a result of the action firing which subsequently causes the OnExit to fire. OnExit of the Memo is clearly not the event I require in this case....
