[delphi-en] Invalid callee

[Smith David G \(Finance\)]

I have a DCOM server that calls a third-party COM object implemented in
a DLL.  The DCOM server was originally apartment-threaded but I'd like
it to be free-threaded.  When I change tmApartment to tmFree and
recompile I get an "Invalid callee" message when it calls the
third-party COM object.
 
Any ideas as to what's going on or how to fix it?
