Making the "out" parameters variants rather than integers and strings seems to have fixed it.  I do not understand why, but I can live with that.

Subject: [delphi-en] Invalid callee

I have a DCOM server that calls a third-party COM object implemented in a DLL.  The DCOM server was originally apartment-threaded but I'd like it to be free-threaded.  When I change tmApartment to tmFree and recompile I get an "Invalid callee" message when it calls the third-party COM object.

Any ideas as to what's going on or how to fix it?

Thanks,
David
