Steve, GetUserName() is really only useful for the currently logged in user. At any given time in Windows NT, multiple users are logged in: NETWORK, SYSTEM, and maybe a few actual people. The only way I see an application working as expected would be to write a program that uses sockets to send the value of GetUserName() to a specific machine on the network from logged in user accounts. -- Thomas Hruska CubicleSoft President Ph: 517-803-4197 *NEW* VerifyMyPC 2.5 Change tracking and management tool.
