Steve,
I must take you back a little.with what you understand so far.what again are you trying to achieve? From: Wilson, Stephen [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, October 17, 2007 12:07 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [delphi-en] re: sms messaging app using delphi 5 Glenn >> I imagine you could go to the carrier's web site and get the gateway information I am following your advice, but , , , , either I'm not very adept at searching or the info is in fact not so easy to find. I have been able to get, by googling, a comprehensive list of carriers in the form of e.g '[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:%27number%40O2.co.uk> ', but on going to O2's site it's not easy to find what the 'number' format should be. I tried mailing Tesco (UK's largest supermarket chain who collaborate with O2 to provide Tesco Mobile network) to get their sms info yesterday but haven't received a reply. While googling, I came across a forum in which a guy from the US asked how he could mail to UK mobiles and he quoted Verizon sms gateway address as an example of how it's done in the States - he got no reply! Are they conspiring against us here !! Regards Steve *************************************************************************** This e-mail and any files transmitted with it are confidential.
