Dear all, I have the following to do:
to save on a bitmap file an image which (for hystorical motivations) is distribuited on more TImage objects. These TImage objects appear on the same parent control (a TScrollBox) and by using the property Transparent it is possible, for the user, to have an integrated view. To obtain the same view on a bitmap file I used the following tecnique: a) to create a copy of the bigger image among the set. b) to use the Canvas.CopyRect method to copy the smaller images in the right place. c) to use the Picture.SaveToFile method to obtain the file. My problem is that in the step b) the CopyRect method does not take care of the transparence and so the final effect in the file is like to have a full view where the Transparent property is false. Is there some different way to obtain on in the file an integrated view taking care of the trasparent propoerty? I thought I could use the clipboard to obtain the full desktop view and then to exctrat the interesting part, but this solution cannot give the correct result when only a part of the full view is available ( don't forget that the set of Timage objects are on a TScrollBox). Any ideas? Thank you in advance to pay attention.
