Ya I figured it was cause I've never received an "official"
attachment from ANY company. I get those ebay falsies everyday too AND the
ones from poor corrupt officials in some 3rd world nation asking for help
getting their millions out of the country or that I've won the London
lottery as well.

It is most likely a virus. Microsoft does not send out patches that
way.

Subject: Strange message?

Morning all,
This morning I found an e-mail in my box supposedly from
Microsoft
Customer service, using an msn e-mail address and looking extremely real
with company logos and such. It recommends applying the enclosed and
zipped, May, cumulative, security patch for all Windows OS's.
Never have I ever received such a message from Microsoft, nor
was I
aware that they have ever sent them out with attachments like this
before.
Has anyone else seen or heard of this?
