Thanx Bob and all who responded,
I knew CodeGear had taken over, as their name was on the box that my
version came in, but I hadn't heard about R2 or any updates past the 3rd one
I downloaded from the Borland site. I also didn't realize there was a check
for updates menu item as I never use the menus! Anyway, I downloaded the
latest last night which took almost three hours on Vista so I hope it solves
some of the IDE problems I've been having lately.

That's correct - Delphi and RAD Studio are now CodeGear products, and
you should go to the www.codegear.com website for support and information.
Go to http://www.codegear.com/downloads/regusers and select your
product, like Delphi, to get to the registered users page and download
your updates.
As an alternative, run the "Check for Updates" utility which was
installed with your copy of Delphi 2007 for Win32 (at least it should
have been), to check for updates.

That's correct. When CodeGear RAD Studio 2007 was released, they decided
to also release a new version of Delphi 2007 for Win32 and C++Builder
for Win32, mainly with bug fixes found in Update 3 for the original
Delphi 2007 for Win32 and C++Builder for Win32, but also with Blackfish
SQL as well as DBX4 extensions such as more meta data support.
Nick Hodges has explained this in his Sept 14th 2007, blog post, see
http://blogs.codegear.com/nickhodges/2007/09/14/38940

I would run the "Check for Updates" tool, as this may find the December
2007 Update as well as the February 2008 Help Update for you.

PS: If you have subscription (what you may call "SA" in the US), you
have the right for a free upgrade to R2 already, as well as Delphi 2008
for Win32 when it's released (and stuff from me, but only in the BeNeLux
as I can only 'resell' in that region).
