Depends on what you're trying to do. If you're accessing MSSQL (especially
7), or Access (especially 2000), then I would use ADO. If you're using MTS,
I would use ADO. If you're looking to jump on the MS bandwagon for their
data-access technology, then I would use ADO.

If you're using Paradox, I would use the BDE. If you're looking for native
drivers to a variety of databases, and have the Enterprise version of
Delphi, then I would use the BDE.
