True, but from what I have seen, its NOT platform independant - you need
Win32 in there somewhere, hence why MS paid Corel a lot of money to do a
.net environment for Linux.

Still, compiled code (Kylix) vrs 'terp'ed code. The languages are designed
by the same person tho (the delphi architect who "defected" to MS for about
$3mil + salary)

And if porting a VM is easy, why havn't they done it with VB? It just used a
VM for a very long time.

yeha, now everyone just realises that Sun are lousy code writers, and
everyone uses the IBM JVM's :). That'd never happen with MS, 'cos they would
never open the file formats of VM source up....

Exactly. And IMO, not an exceptionally good one. But thats IMO, and I'm a
Java nut :) (which for me, HAS killed Delphi)
