I have been meaning to ask this all day too. >From what I saw, no. Not that its not a great looking product, but to be fair, all the stuff that was shown, apart from the .NET stuff, you can go out and buy for a lot less that the delphi product that they come with. It appeared to me that it was more of an update than a new product. But then Richard DID say that not a lot had change....sorry Borland, doesnt look like we will be purchasing it. All out .NET dev. is do in C# by, just one guy :-), and although it will be nice to use Delphi/pascal in .NET, it was not enough to go out and buy it. although, one thing that Richard DIDNT meantion was, that the pages created by the IntraWeb stuff is all Java controls on the HTML page, NOT html controls. We wrote similar tool here, but it was mailnly to speed up the dev. of webpage layouts.
We will prob. just buy BOLD and Model Maker and save us some $$ Jeremy -----Original Message----- From: "Robert Martin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Multiple recipients of list delphi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thu, 5 Sep 2002 12:25:21 +1200 Subject: Re: [DUG]: Delphi 8 ? > I went to the presentation yesterday.
