When converting a pchar to ansistring,
p : pchar;
a : ansistring;
do the following do the same thing ?
a := p;
a := string(p);
I can not find the latter in the Delphi help but is being used by
Crystal Reports, which is crashing when handling strings between the app
and the dll.
