Thanks for your anzswer. This component is related to the sund mixer which is a totaly different beats. I want to change the default devices. Take control panel, sound a multimedia, select audio tab. You'll see what I mean. You probably have only one sound card, but my system has 3 sound cards ! My application need to select the correct one before running another application which only "sees" the default device. I don't want to ask the user to manually change the default sound card.
