You should consider using the TNT UNICODE controls. They used to be 
free, but are now part of TMS, see http://www.tmssoftware.com and look 
for the TMS Unicode Component Pack.

I've used the free version in the past, and was very pleased by it! 
Until CodeGear adds full UNICODE support to Delphi, TNT Controls (or the 
new name TMS Unicode Component Pack) may be your best option...
