Hmm... I looked in the ASCII table and you are right. Only 2 of them are in the 
standard ASCII table.
Now I realize how 'often', if ever, I use those non-English characters :)
I think this is why I never had problem with Romanian writing system.
Anyway, I will install today (I hope) that language pack that Bob mentioned, 
create an (UNICODE) account and try to see if it is possible to write INI files 
under that account.
I am not yet ready to heavily modify my application to offer full support for 
UNICODE.
If I will find an easy solution I will post it here.



Bob, that language pack you are speaking about, won't translate all Windows 
menus/buttons/string from English to Asian. Right?
Hope to be able to uninstall it. :)
