Doug,

Maybe I explained it wrong. lol I bought D2009 back when it was
released, however the port of our flagship product from D2007 to D2009
was taking longer than expected due to our use of toolkits (some of
which are no longer supported such as the old TurboPower toolkits) and
it had to be placed on the backburner.

The migration sat for so long that the release of D2010 came around, so
as it sits D2009 never compiled any released software and was basically
a wasted upgrade. I have since purchased D2010 and the desire to port
our software to a more Unicode/.NET friendly platform still exists, but
I also have several deadlines coming up over the next six months so I
just don't see us getting to it anytime soon. The port is more for
compatibility and possible ease of future feature implementation over a
real "need" so we're managing in D2007 for now.

You are correct, if I had finished the D2009 port the move to D2010
should have been a cakewalk.

It was during my attempt to move us to D2009 that I ported several of
the TurboPower toolkits such as SysTools, OnGuard, etc. to D2009 which
are the packages I send people when they ask for them on SourceForge.

John,

I'm surprised you have both D2010 and D2009 and D2010 is the one sitting

on the shelf. It seems to me that conversion between D2009 and D2010
would be painless and if you switched you would get the benefit of the
bug fixes, better performance, etc in D2010.
