I am supporting one client who has not yet wanted to pay to upgrade from
Delphi 5.

The initial Winter 2010 Olympic Rings software I did in Delphi 5. Then Ian
Mackay modified that code to produce the graphical control software and he
used Delphi 6.

Alas when he died during the summer of 2009 I had to take on what he was
doing. I did the initial port of his software to Delphi 2007 (so it
compiled) and handed it off to Doug Filteau who then got rid of the
hundreds of warning messages and did what was needed to make the program
stable.

We then collaborated to make the rings software work for a dual set of
rings and Doug added email support and other features.

Truth be told though, I still like the older classic Delphi interface. I
still find 2007 harder to use but I don't think Delphi 5 runs as well
under Vista so new projects are now all done with Delphi 2007.
