Yes, Actually mostly I use Isqlw still, I find Sql Manager pretty awful,
a lot of reconnecting to do basic stuff

I can still use SQL Manager to connect to is in my development
enviroment tho eh?
I have tools in my app. for running SQL etc if I need to on site, so
thats not too bad.

Agree.
The only limit is the db size (and missing some features) otherwise
the same in all respects.
It also does not come with a interactive tool –e.g sql
workbench/profiler etc, but MS has since supplied some limited tools.

Hi All.
When I was looking at MSDE I remember reading about how it was limited
to between 5 and 8 concurrent processes at one time. I say between 5
and 8 because some sites said 5 others said 8....even the MS
documentation seemed to differ from 5 to 8........ANYWAY.....now I am
looking at SQL 2005 Express...I think thats what its called
now.....and it "appears" that is only limitation apart from some
features, is that it can only have a 4GB db.
Is this what others understand too? is anyone else using SQL 2005
Express now?
