As it seems that we agree to have a site with one central column and one top nav bar using bootswatch/scaffolding + CSS3, I would like to introduce the next point that we completely forget in my email post.
What about the Project name (see here about previous discussions : http://deltaspike.staging.apache.org/deltaspike/project-name.html) and a logo ? WooDI, SnooDI, PigDI, ...
