It seems that Denemo's threading code was only safe (?) for the X11 backend, I don't know whether this is relevant to the latest Jessie distro (apparently there are other backends now, perhaps Jesie uses one of them) a quote from the thread: "make the point that the advertised code on which the OP relied is for the X11 backend only. It is not just that it won't work in win32: it won't work in wayland, broadway or quartz either. " I *think* I have updated Denemo in git so that it will work for all backends, so it would be really great if you can test again.
