While reduction in the clunkiness of Denemo is a hot topic, does anyone know what is behind the "feature" whereby positioning a window at the top of the screen makes the window maximise? Denemo suffers from this both on Windows and on Mate Desktop (and I suspect everywhere else). I suspect it must be a feature of GTK, but since the GTK documentation was "improved" it is very difficult to find out. To make matters worse, I can't think of a way to describe this feature succinctly so as to make it the target of an internet search. Any ideas?
