Hi Robert, I haven't worked on Kodos in years, but Kodos does have a font chooser built in under preferences. You can pick whatever style/size looks good on Mac's (I have no idea which one since I'm not a Mac user... and never will be!).
Once you save your prefs (which are stored in ~/.kodos/prefs) you can include that file in your packaging.
