If you restart DH in debug mode it dumps information as to the allowed hosts. Do you see your customer's ip address in the list?

In my kreme.com dns zone I have

home IN CNAME kreme.homeip.com.

Which points to my comcast dynamic connection.

But that ip was just listed, so looks like I need to reënable the crontab.

I'm wondering if there is some other problem with denyhosts, but I'm not sure how to troubleshoot it. I've got a customer whose hostname *and* IP have been added to allowed-hosts, but his IP continues to be banned. I have removed his IP from all data/* files (except allowed-hosts) and from hosts.deny. And I restarted denyhosts.

I'm baffled why his IP keeps getting banned. Could there be some other problem which we are both experiencing?

If anyone has suggestions on how to best troubleshoot the problem I would love to hear it.
