This is a comparison of the directory layouts of the 10.15.1.0 distributions
vs. the corresponding directory layouts of the 10.13.1.1 distributions. This
all looks expected and ok to me:
# bin-zip distribution:
* 10.15.1.0 is missing the compiled versions of the demo programs
SimpleNetworkClientSample, SimpleNetworkServerSample, SimpleApp,
WwdClientExample, WwdEmbedded, and WwdUtils. That's ok because we expect that
the user will compile them from source.
* The security policies and their documentation have changed. This is expected.
* Some obsolete pages have been removed from the 10.15.1.0 documentation.
* The structure of the javadoc has changed between Java 8 and Java 11. This is
expected.
* Module summaries and diagrams have been added to the 10.15.1.0 javadoc.
* There is a new 10.15.1.0 jar file: derbyshared.jar.
# db-derby-10.15.1.0-lib
* There is a new 10.15.1.0 jar file: derbyshared.jar.
# db-derby-10.15.1.0-lib-debug
* There is a new 10.15.1.0 jar file: derbyshared.jar.
# db-derby-10.15.1.0-doc-src
* The security policies and their documentation have changed. This is expected.
* Some obsolete pages have been removed from the 10.15.1.0 documentation.
# db-derby-10.15.1.0-src
* Source code for dozens of security policies have been removed and replaced by
SecurityPolicyGenerator machinery.
* The classlister program and some properties files have been removed from
10.15.1.0 because the new, simplified build makes them obsolete.
* 10.15.1.0 has extra module-specific directories under trunk/java.
* 10.15.1.0 has extra source files needed to support modularization.
