Hi Drew, all,

... sorry for the delay ...

We can discuss the branding guidelines here, but in general I think they
are a good compromise between free design culture and branding consistency.

Hi Bernhard,

OK - no problem - so let's be clear.

Three images for use on some page somewhere -
http://oucv.paintedfrogceramics.com/libreoffice/images/david/buttons-2.html

One is dead form the get go - because I've used the basic icon as an out
time for the green area on the left.

I think this one should not be used because of the whitespace rule and the wrong proportion of the symbol.

It doesn't "talk" to me as related to LibreOffice - the next two buttons look better to me.

Two is out because of the LibreOffice logo text.

Not really - it just needs a bit more whitespace around it.
If you use the official LibreOffice logo text as one graphic and the symbol as another, I'm fine with presenting them together if each of them has enough room from the next graphical or textual elements.

Three - assuming anyone would want it, however would be within the
guidelines.

I prefer number two with a bit more distance between "LibreOffice" and "Blog" as well as to the borders of the white area.

(are you limited to 150px width?)

Best regards

Bernhard

Right?

Thanks

Drew
