I really worked to get the scatter pattern to encircle the globe,
trailing off to point to the version identifier - for a feeling of
movement, or so I hoped, would prefer to leave the version id where it
is for the moment.

Tried that early on - it didn't really seem to make sense to me there.

Some alternatives to look at:

The original on the wiki now first
