I don't know if your application will use a header and top navigation, but these

If this is not possible, you could get the colors and sizes used on the website
from the CSS files. Perhaps the website team might be interested in

And for us it would be great if we could have a look at the design in an early
state (or can contribute to it if you would tell us about the necessary fields,
areas or features).

Maybe we can use a logo like on the conference web page [1] (and the extension web page) [2]:
