I don't know about the javascript links, but mail lists is that way
for aesthetic reasons (mailing lists is too long :o)

We probably need multiple paths, both contacting people and a
'goodfirstbug' keyword.
If someone is willing to put that keyword on at least a few bugs,

* This doc starts weird, jumping into setting an environment. I
think it
should start with some basics, and then show the options a developer
has. I think it should start with the Documentation section's first
paragraph, followed by the architecture overview and tutorials.
Then I
would add a new short section describing what a developer might
want to
do, from easiest to hardest: scripts, parcels, core development.
After
that should come a short section/para about scripts development.
After
that, how to create parcels, followed by how to work on core
Chandler,
and finally followed by references.
This is good feedback, and I will try to address it once I get home
(tomorrow)
