Yep, it isn't related to libsvg or libsvg-cairo I was wrong there. Try looking with xrestop and minimizing/maximizing some small program, if it works as in my system, you should see a 150 kb hop in wnck-applets pixmap memory. You have tried without the windowlist (remove from panel) and workspace-switcher?
