>From bug #218010 : Steps to reproduce: 1. Log into a FTP serveur with a FTP client like FileZilla 2. Create a file called "test test test test test test test test.mp3" 3. Open the FTP server in nautilus
Result : the file does not show in nautilus and trying to delete a folder that contains such files fail. This bug can be tested on this server : ftp://leservicetechnique.com/ username : "username" password : "nothing" ** Summary changed: - Gvfs ftp module doesn't display file whose name is longer than 42 characters + Files on FTP with >6 spaces in filename don't list in Nautilus ** Description changed: I uploaded file to my freebox hard drive (it is a french set top box) But the file didn't display in nautilus while it does well in gftp or anyother ftp client. With some tests i discovered that the file is not displayed if its name is longer than 42 characters. It is really easy to reproduce ... just open an ftp and rename a file in it to increase its length and the file will disappear from nautilus. + + Update : See comment #7 for steps to reproduce. -- Files on FTP with >6 spaces in filename don't list in Nautilus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/208524 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is the registrant for gvfs. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
