Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 and I use my laptop (Dell Inspiron 6400) during my commute to watch videos using Totem. Ubuntu 8.10 is the first release for me to allow proper suspend / hibernate strait off install, however I notice that if I do not finish watching a video, and thus pause it and hibernate my laptop, that upon resuming operation totem will not play properly. By this I mean that the video I left paused, is still open and at the correct position in the file, however, when I click play it jitters and plays extremely slowly in such a way it looks as though I am pressing the play and pause button really quickly. If I close totem and re-open the file then playback is as expected. This is not the file, as it will play perfectly fine strait though as long as I do not hibernate and resume. The version of totem is 2.24.3-0ubuntu1 ** Affects: totem (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Totem won't play properly after hibernate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/299294 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
