The previous bug report was not that detailed on how to reproduce it, sorry! Because i am able to reproduce the bug i will now explain how it happens.
Create a plain text file on the desktop; Call im "test.txt" (without quotes); Write whatever you like on it; Right click on desktop; Choose "Make Link"; It will create a link named "link\ to\ test.txt" (name of the file in the console); Move the file "test.txt" to the wastebasket; Empty the wastbasket; Now move the link to the wastebasket; Empty the wastebasket; The file will remain on the wastebasbet, the only way to delete it is from the console. I hope this info will help you debuging the issue. Thank you for your time! -- Cant delete links from wastbasket https://launchpad.net/bugs/44451 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
